COE Conference
Recent Advances and Applications in Nonlinear Science
16 October - 19 October 2006
Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences
The University of Tokyo
as part of its 21st century COE program :
"New mathematical deployment center to support scientific technology"
The topic of this conference is the field of nonlinear systems,
including integrable systems, chaotic systems and reaction-diffusion equations.
It will focus not only on recent theoretical developments in these different
fields, but also on new applications of these theoretical advances to real
world problems. Bringing together experts from different subject matters within
the field of nonlinear systems, the conference will not only offer a forum for
exchanging new insight in each separate field of interest, but it will hopefuly
also generate new and promising exchanges between the various disciplines.
